Electrician’s Mate

Our client is a manufacturer of high-reliability interconnection products, based in Mansfield. They are looking for an electrician’s mate to join the team and if successful this could lead to a permanent contract with many benefits!

• £12.78-£13.50 per hour – dependant on skills and experience.
• 7:30am-16:00pm Monday- Friday, no weekends!
• Temp to perm for successful applicants.

Role Overview:

In this role, your main responsibility is to support the day-to-day operations of the Facilities Maintenance Department. You will carry out electrical repairs and maintenance to the multiple buildings and electrical infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attention to detail
• To undertake any additional duties as requested by the Maintenance / Electrical Supervisor or Facilities
Maintenance Manager
• Report any potential electrical problems, concerns, or areas of risk relating to health & safety.
• Good English reading and writing skills

Skills and Experience:

• Must have a valid UK driving licence
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Good working knowledge of general electrical maintenance systems and test equipment.
• Must be able to provide recent work references to demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness
